By creating an account or using Unredacted, you agree to these terms. We’ve tried to write them like we’d actually explain them to you, not like a contract designed to be skimmed past.

Agreement
By downloading or using Unredacted ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What the app does
Unredacted is a personal mood-marking tool. It generates a unique glyph each day from your answers and mood input, and stores that record on your device. It does not analyse, interpret, or make recommendations based on your data.

Your data
All mood data, marks, and records you create are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced through your personal Apple iCloud account under Apple's own privacy terms. Unredacted does not operate servers that store your personal data.
We do not sell, share, or transmit your mood data to third parties.

Photo Library
When you save a poster, the app requests access to your photo library to write the image file. The app reads no photos and stores no images beyond what you explicitly choose to save.

No Medical or Clinical use
Unredacted is not a medical device, a clinical tool, or a substitute for professional mental health support. It records. It does not diagnose, assess, or treat any condition. If you are in distress, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

Intellectual Property
The app, its design, glyph library, and all associated assets are owned by Jonathan Moore. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the app without written permission.
Posters you generate from your own marks are yours to print and use for personal purposes.

No Warranty
The app is provided as-is. We make no guarantee that it will be available at all times, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Your use is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jonathan Moore is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data.

Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
